the other 3/5BR are extremely unique too, especially in city like NY whereas studio/1/2BR residences/condos in inventory are common mark studio & mark premier studio - all 8 leased ? (were good value) the park studio (1BR suite) on 9th floor was also sold |
Does anyone know a NYC hotel with a fireplace in the room? Wood or gas, don't mind.
I can only seem to pull up The Lowell in searches - Deluxe Junior Suite at around $1200 per night. |

best concierge
Any recommendations based on which high end hotel has the best concierge for someone trying to get restaurant reservations. I'll be in town for two nights and would like to dine at EMP and Le Bernardin on back to back nights. I'm going to try for reservations on my own, but it would be nice to have a very skilled concierge to help in case I'm unsuccessful. Everything else in the hotel is negotiable, though I'm partial to high floors that get me away from the noise. Thanks!

I agree that the MO concierge is not that good for difficult bookings |
Harvard Club
This is a bit off-topic. We have the choice of staying there on a forthcoming visit. While the rooms are not "luxury hotel"-level, we've been told that the restaurant, public areas, services and general ambience more than make up for that. Any experiences ?

Hi,
I will be in New York for 2 nights next week and wondering where to book. I have Amex Platinum so have Diamond Status in Hilton and Gold in SPG. I was thinking about Conrad or Waldorf Astoria with Hilton but then I also thought about The Peninulsa..... any recommendations? |

Also, the Conrad and WA are not really on the same level as the Pen and other hotels. You should also review this thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/luxur...w-york-18.html |
