Thanks, KatW. I'm taken with the pictures of The Lodge at Blue Sky in Utah, which will open in May 2019. It reminds me of the scenery around Amangiri. It's just an hour east of Salt Lake City. That makes it easily accessible. I hope someone stays and reports on it.

lodge and necker are rentals that sometimes book rooms (watch for last minute added dates)
son bunyola mallorca is 3 villa rentals, seems he is planning more for the land
africa - 2 relatively small hotels and 2 safari lodges
he sold some residences on moskito, some owners planned to rent privately (not via virgin)

On that note, I'll be checking out Rosewood Hong Kong personally in early February, including rooms and suites (not staying there, yet).
It'll be a long way away before I make it to either, but both The Lodge at Blue Sky and Sonop intrigue me. The latter in particular because I've seen what they did with Phum Baitang.

From last month, but Rosewood also announced they will manage a property in Taipei:

Mostly agree. Most IC (dont talk about HI, CP etc.) dont belong to this forum. But some IC/ Regent are pretty nice and belongs to the luxury-level. There are some hotels which are far from boring. We will see if Six Senses will stay an own brand and if for excample the Ambassador programm will be honored. While Six Senses did some (or lets say one) big failures in the past and most resorts are special its nevertheless an interesting brand.

Fiji probably the exception to the rule somewhat, along with the new opening in Israel although not as many photos there.
Also, maybe the two random city hotel openings in Singapore now make sense...will they be rebranded as other IHG brands? It still doesn't fit in with the Six Senses brand overall.
