I know I've posted about this before, but been a long-time coming after an exhausting summer. Can't wait!
I'd be absolutely thrilled to read your reviews of the WA AMS. It's definitely one I'd like to hear more about.

Jealous you are going to Alila JA! We had a tremendous 2 nights there.

We visited the Chedi Muscat for dinner and the property is beautiful, albeit was very (VERY) quiet. We walked the grounds and saw literally not a single guest.

Any good meals lined up? Am heading to Kyoto early Sep and trying something different. Staying in Osaka and commuting to Kyoto for sight-seeing and meals. Will be trying out Miyoshi

Possibly Tenyu
Some others

Really enjoyed Touzentei in April and hoping to return . Small one - a trio - by father & son as chefs with their wife / mother assisting .

Considering Tempura Mizuki too
Kaiseki Mizuk

Where are you in Osaka ? Am trying to decide if to stay overnight to check out the market

You have to try sushi shin (get the Conrad to get you a table and book you a taxi there) - we've been twice - worth it!

I love Alila hotels and am really excited for JA! Some friends of our just returned from a two night stay and very much echoed your sentiments. We have four nights which I suspect will be just enough.

I hear that the Chedi is quiet even at 100% occupancy but I'm ok with that. We have plenty of activities planned whilst in Muscat: Diving, Dolphin watching, Wadi Shab, Opera House etc. I'm hoping the Chedi will be an oasis of tranquility at the end of each day

We don't have too long in Tokyo this time but will try and fit in Shin as well as Narisawa. Thanks for the recommendation!
