At Amanjiwo, I highly recommend multiple visits to Borobudur Temple...to get photos with different light. And even more highly, take the bicycle tour around the surrounding villages: most memorable activity I may ever have done anywhere that's so simple. We met so many locals, especially children, and saw real Javanese culture and living. And I despise biking!
Sounds fun. I'm excited. And I actually really enjoying biking!

May be in SIN (RC or MO as Fullerton Bay could be sold out or has restrictions) on Dec 25. Where are you staying in SIN?

We are then going to MOHK on Dec 29 - 31. Seems we have the same taste but just a bit off on timing

Bali in January is wonderful if staying at Amans - particularly Kila & Nusa .
Despite somewhat higher humidity , rain is usually brief & the sun is brilliant again , & if outdoor activities are scheduled can be done anyway .
Otherwise , there is spa , cooking , etcetera classes or just lounging in the Aman libraries , galleries , bars , etcetera
That ' s why we have returned numerous times in January .
From what I recall , April is rather warm .
Try stay more in August these days when it's cooler being the southern winter .

In SIN , could be in FS , SLA - Valley Wing , prefer the Orchard area but may recce Sentosa for a change - Capella or even Tanglin Club ( rooms may still be under refurbishment ; haven ' t checked any yet , busy sorting cruises as they seem always to be booked up a year or more in advance in our preferred stateroom )
MOHK should be lovely NYE too

Curious - what Cruise Line are you returning to?

Doing our first Uniworld River Cruise next April in Paris. Will be the first wave of guests on their new Super Ship...it's really just an excuse to stay at the FS G V, of course!

Four days in Big Sur at Ventana which we much prefer over Post Ranch. An impulsive trip driven by need for peace, quiet and Japanese baths.

Has been a very nice year for holidays and just the final one to wrap it up, starting week after next. Made the decision a few days ago to go to MOBK rather then The Siam, just to try somewhere new.

The Connaught
Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok
Trisara
Amanpulo
Upper House, Hong Kong
Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong
The Connaught

Seems like you're ending the year with a big bang! :-:

Hope you end up in one of The Oriental's new Garden or Ambassador Suites!
