His PHL-FRA boarding pass on US does not give him access to a lounge in FRA, but his FRA-HYD boarding pass on LH will. Both Business lounges in Concourse B (near gates B24-28 and gates B44-48) have showers.

Arriving on TLV-FRA at gate C16 around delayed at 805pm, have to get my connection at A19, departing shortly after 9pm.
To my surprise I find the glass doors dividing C and D open, protected by a fraport employee.
In my head forms the idea to make a run for Sky Train station at D.
I asked him if I could go to D since I have no luggage. He let me pass.
That area of D is completely empty, only cleaning crew is circling around (and I guess the reason why they opened the door)
50m behind the glass doors I see a buggy from the "new" terminal express approaching. I waive him hello, he picks me up and drives me through the really empty concourse D and drops me off at the D station of the Sky Train, non schengen side.
I take the Sky Train to BC, pass the immigration and reenter on schengen side (mind you they do not advertise outside BC/Schengen station of the Skyline that they take you to A Schengen).
I leave the train at A schengen, quickly go through security control (no pax there besides me).
Arrive at my gate at 8.19pm. No running, no sweating, no queuing ... The perfect connect at FRA. If it would be like that all the time, I would love this airport...

Beginners Question
I'm sure that this has been covered before, but I can only see threads relating to the FCT...
I'm flying IAD-FRA, overnight, in F. Two hours after landing I'm flying FRA-LHR in J, but on a separate booking (thanks to some "married segments" nonsense).
Can I use the First Class Lounges? Will I still be offered car transfer if boarding is from a remote stand?
Cheers.

If your LHR flight leaves from a remote stand they should drive you to the plane from the FCL B - but not from the FCL A (which is in Schengen).
I thought LH kept on promising that LHR flights would leave from gate positions in FRA.

Sentom: Wait. I am arriving in F from the USA connecting to Rome in D. Everything i have read..and been told, is that I can go to the FCT upon arrival in FRA awaiting my departure to Rome. Are you saying I CANNOT go to the FCT?? I have been advised by Newbierunner that that is my best option if I land in B or a bus gate.

How bad is passport control at FRA? Ive seen nightmares at cdg and lhr, but heard ZRH takes mere seconds. I'd imagine its just as bad in fra if a 388 or 744 rolls in and dumps 500 pax or so at once, but I wanted to make sure.

Depends entirely on the time of day, which passport control position (there are several), flights arriving before yours and of course what passport you hold.
Not entirely true. Depends on where you are coming from. Longhaul arrivals have to ride Heidi's train to the main terminal so the flow of passengers is somewhat controlled before they reach passport control. Passport control for shorthaul non-Schengen (bus) arrivals can be quite chaotic. I've probably waited longer in ZRH than I've ever waited in FRA (with an EU passport arriving from non-Schengen).
BTW why do you keep on asking basically the same question in several different threads?

Arriving from us with us passport, so that might clarify things. As for similar questions, I'm using my CO miles for a F trip to Europe, so if I'm dropping 135000 miles, I'd like the most calm and comfortable experience. MUC seemed like a no brainer with the FCL passport control, but it gets the old AC, so now I'm between FRA and ZRH as both receive LH and LX's new first class planes.

You may be interested to know that I've never seen worse passport control delays in European airports than I've seen (and experienced) in some US airports.

Ive got global entry for the us side so I've never waited more than 60 seconds I remember heathrow being upwards of 30 mins last time I went through, so with FRA being almost as big, I'm trying to avoid that, if it ever gets that bad. Lx only flies 333s from ny to zrh or gva, so im safe there, and im assuming by december, theres a pretty good shot jfk fra will be new 744s. And though our mileage rewards may be cheaper, at least you can get an a380 f seat, even as the highest UA/CO tier, I can only get economy.
