Forced by "following the signs" – BEG was originally scheduled to depart from a B gate (as indicated on my boarding pass), it then switched to C (or vice-versa, I can't remember now). Possibly my "mistake" as you also implicitly suggest but it's FRA after all (I've even started to go via ZAG with OU and their far from perfect on-time record merely to avoid the "stress" of that mess airport...).
I once arrived in B from MAN and had a connecting flight to OTP also from B. I had to clear transfer security and walk to the departure gate of my connecting flight which happened to be the same aircraft on which I arrived from MAN 45 minutes earlier obviously parked at the same gate!
P.S. I reported this previously but since it was a long time ago I hope it’s ok to post it again.

These days they always unload clean arrivals into the B departures area. It's even signposted at the end of the (some?) jetbridges.

But arriving into the B departures area has limited benefits unless there’s a regular bus service to the secure area of Z and passport control into B Schengen departures for a walk through the tunnel to A departures.

And that’s obviously not the case in FRA. Unless you fly on from B, going back upstairs and then joining the queues for immigration and transfer security is next…

Hi. I understand that AEUW is a bus gate near A7-A10. Does it mean that it parks there so a short bus ride or just that it lets people off near those gates (so bus ride might be long)? Thank you in advance for your response!

AEUW is the name used for bus gates which are actually gates A7-A9 used for clean non-Schengen arrivals. Arriving at AEUW does not mean a short bus ride but it is convenient for passengers connecting from Z or A gates as they don’t need to clear transfer security.

So it looks like I will not be at a bus gate (but I suppose that can still change). If I am going from B22 to Z22, will I be able to take the bus? I took one the other day when I arrived and had no additional security/immigration. Is it the same when traveling the other way? Also, is there any Senator Lounge on the way? Thanks!

Supposing that you get offloaded into secure area (which you should if you are coming from EDI if I understand you right) then yes.
The fact that the train is inoperative right now is a blessing in disguise as it means that the Z-B secure shuttle is all but guaranteed to be running. This is not always the case when the train is on - then you might have to leave the secure area to take the it...
Your best bet as to lounges is to find one close to your departure area. The lounge in Z concourse is near the main "shopping center" zone towards gate Z50. It's about 10 minutes walk to Z22.

Is 65 minutes enough time, LH to Eurowings at FRA?
Hi folks,
I am looking at two itineraries that connect onto the the same final flight: 1. is via YYZ and then FRA with 4 hours in FRA and then on to TFS: this is the safest connection choice for obvious reasons, but it means a 5 a.m. flight for me at my origin (not YYZ) and 8 hours at YYZ before heading on to FRA; option 2 is via YVR to FRA with 65 minutes to make the final flight to TFS. It is a nice connection if everything works out as I get an 11 a.m. departure from home, a shorter layover at YVR, and a long night TATL vs the YYZ flight, which is conducive to sleep (I will be in business class). But, I worry about the short connection time at FRA.
I connected through FRA twice in September and didn't have any issues but a few years back got stuck in a passport control line exiting to the non-Schengen zone and missed a TATL flight. We were late coming in due to a weather delay, but really should have been ok to get through before the doors closed.
I will be interested to see people's thoughts on this, though I can say at the outset I am leaning toward the less pleasant route through YYZ. Thanks!
