I looked thru the thread but I did not see something like my case. I wonder if someone can help me clarify my itinerary. I am going to fly from DME-FRA-BOS via Lufthansa. DME-FRA arrive at Gate C5A and transfer to gate Z52 to catch the next flight FRA-BOS. I did not have a schengen visa and therefore, I cannot cross the passport control/EU border. My question is "Does it possible to transfer without crossing the passport control from gate C5A to Z52?" I think I should be all good by taking the air train from gate C to Gate Z (non-schengen) and only go thru the security check which I am okay with as long as I am not cross the EU border/passport control.
Also, from gate Z (non-schengen), does it possible to go to gate B (non-schengen). As I need to purchase longchamp for my mom? Thanks.

Just a small point that arrival gates in FRA are not always accurate and they don't have a pattern. A flight from Moscow could arrive at B, C or Z and this is determined randomly.
Departure gates do not have a pattern as well but %95+ of the time, USA flights depart from Terminal 1Z.
Regardless of your arrival/departure gate all Non-Schengen gates are accessible without passing passport control after arriving from another Non-Schengen flight.
If you arrive at C, you could simply take the Skyline to Terminal 1Z. Same for Terminal 1B, you could take the Skyline to Terminal Z without any passport control and Schengen visa.
If you want to go to Terminal 1B for the Longchamp store, you would need to clear security one more time, once at B and once at Z. First I would proceed to B to get the bag and then proceed to Z for your flight as it would save time.

Anyone ever used this service? Do they send a car to meet you at the gate or the remote stand the ARN flights usually arrive at? Do they even drive you on the tarmac at all?
Not that I'd ever need or use the service but thinking would it benefit elderly?

We meet you as soon as you are inside the terminal building, then accompany you through all required checkpoints. If it’s too far to walk, you will comfortably take a limousine or a gate taxi.
Passengers with mobility problems can request assistance free of charge through their airline.

If you decide to walk all the way, or take the Skyline, you would have to go through security. You would arrive clean to B-Non Schengen gates and as your transfer won't be from another B-Non Schengen gate you would have to leave the secure area.
The only way to not reclear security would be to use the B to Z intra-terminal ( bus ) shuttle, which does not run all the time, and then clear passport control at Z gates.

Hi,
I will be arriving from MEX (Mexico City) to FRA on LH and then transferring to an AI (Air India) flight to New Delhi.
I do not have a Schengen visa, but I presume I do not need to go through passport control for MEX-FRA (LH) - FRA-DEL (AI)
Thank you

No, you don’t have to go through passport control but you will have to clear transfer security. Depending on your arrival and departure gates you may have to travel via the Skyline train. Just follow the signs for your departure gate.

What country is your passport issued from? You might want to check the transit requirements at FRA.

Is one hour enough time to transit FRA (on Christmas day)? Details are:
Arrive 12/25 FRA via AA, arrival is 8:30AM, actual arrival seems to run between 7:30 and 9:30. I then have to catch a LH flight FRA-ARN (obviously a separate ticket) at 11:15AM. I'll be coming from the US w/ a US passport, so no visa required, but I'll have checked luggage. Looks like I'll be transferring from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1. Is this enough time to transit, especially in the worst case scenario of arriving at 10am? Thanks

You have a scheduled arrival at 8:30 and a departure at 11:15. You have 2 hours 45 to make a connection on one of the quietest travel days of the year.
If the flight is significantly delayed then that should be known before you leave sfo and uf needed can be addressed there.
If you do not haveva through ticket then i think even 2 hours 45 would be tight to reclaim bags abd re check them.

Assuming you have a through ticket then you are overthinking this.

Transfer security at Z
I will be transferring at FRA from B to Z via the Skytrain and will have to pass through transfer security at Z. Is there a separate line for business class and what would be the expected time required to clear security ?
Also - how do I carry passport and BP through transfer security at FRA ? Can I carry them in hand as I go through the scanner or do they have to be binned ?
