I reckon you'd be quicker going remaining in T1 and going landside there. Yes you would have to go through security again on your way back to airside, but T1 to T2 can be a long trek airside dependimg on which gate your NCE flight arrives at.

You have to go through passport control whether visiting any lounge or not since you are leaving for a non-Schengen destination. You will also have to clear security whether you go to one of the lounges in T2 or the Luxx Lounge.

Welcome to FlyerTalk, MAAflyer!
You will go through immigration/passport control and security in FRA. Your residence permit for Sweden should let you into Germany and Denmark but when you arrive in CPH there will be no passport check.
Whether you arrive in B or C, the best option is to take the Skyline train to A/Z. If arriving in B follow the signs for A,C,Z,D,E to the right of passport control booths in the transfer area. If arriving in C there is a new stop for the Skyline train which opened a few weeks ago.
http://www.fraport.com/content/frapo...course-c0.html
Once you arrive in A/Z you go through transfer security, go down two levels and go through passport control. Depending on the length of the queue 85 minutes may be a little tight for this connection but if you miss your flight they will put you on the next available flight to CPH.

When I see reference for a UA flight arriving at "V127" is that a reference to a bus gate?
I'll be arriving at FRA from EWR and during the last week I see the flight landing at "V" gates. I will be connecting to a LH flight to ABZ .
Now I'm beginning to get confused

Unfortunately if you are connecting to ABZ from a B gate you will have to clear security (but no passport control) after taking the Skyline train to B. The only way to avoid security is to go through passport control into A, walk through the tunnel to B and go through passport control again. Only recommended if you are registered to use automated passport gates.

Hi,
I will be arriving in FRA via LH from SFO at 11:15 in Y and have 3 1/2 hours before my OS flight to VIE. From what I have gathered so far: FRA is a labyrinth, with multiple security checks, long walks, etc...
I am interested in having lunch at the adjacent Paulaner in the Squaire across the airport. Will I have enough time to do so? I am aware that I will need to go through security again to the A gates for my flight to VIE.
Option B: eat at Deutsch at the Z gates (pricier, more limited menu). If I arrive at a Z gate, can I grab a bite before going to passport control?
Option C: just grab a quick free (Diners Club) bite and some beer at the Luxx Lounge (and go through security again). I've done this before but on a longer layover and at a time when basically the whole airport was still closed at 6am. Or is T2 even an option (if better)?
Thanks a lot in advance.

I know 1:35 is a fine connection but I've only ever traveled through FRA in F/J/*G & I am booking a ticket for a very special friend to come see me and sometimes you just want FTers to hold you tight and tell you everything will be alright (I can be a travel worst case scenario worry wart).
LH175 TXL-FRA arrive 8:55 to 10:30 LH454 FRA-SFO. I selected his seat in row 12 so he shouldn't take log to get off the plane and I've instructed him to not dilly dally and to go through security/PP control and get to the SFO gate first and foremost.
If for some reason something happened with the TXL flight I guess he'd be on the 13:55 or 17:25 UA flights with any luck?
Or should I just send him through MUC with a 2h+ connection to the UA MUC-SFO flight? He'd get in 2h later which is fine, but we are driving from SFO to my place in Tahoe.
