Domestic F on LH - how was it?
IIRC until the 1980 LH offered 3class service within Germany and Europe.
How was this product seat and service wise and does anyone have pictures?
I'm just curious ;-)

Domestic F was offered until 1992 (not 1980). 3-class domesticwas only one or two years (introduced 1990 or 1991).
Seats were 8 seats in 737/727/320 and 18 seats in AB6/310. Similiar to the seats u.s. carriers offer in domestic F.
Food was mostly hot food (even on short flights like FRA-MUC) with linens.

Euro F Food...
is here under "Lufthansa":

Nice, but nothing to lose sleep over (similar to long-haul business set-up).
Fixed floor to ceiling wall dividers between the cabins, I remember a "sleeve" for F-boarding passes near the door - perhaps for FA's to "remember" the names of their guests. Gold/silver fabric on the seats, in broad diagonal stripes. For a while, I think there was officially no Y cabin in Europe - F or C service only. Those with cheap tickets sat at the back, but still got a decent meal for their (super)"Flieg und Spar" fares - fresh plums for desert once.
