E vouchers upgrades
Is it possible to use HON E vouchers upgrades for bookings made on LH or LX but not ticketed yet in order to secure better chance of confirming the upgrade if the booking is made well in advance ?

To my belief no. The ticket needs to be issued.

Only for ticketed bookings request for upgrades can be made using eVochers or miles.No exception.

BTW what is a HON E voucher ?

Am i right that it takes two evouchers for a one-way TATL upgrade?

The electronic upgrade vouchers that you get free in your account when you qualify or re-qualify for HON status in M&M.

SEN also get some.
And, in the old days, you would get one each time you gathered 50'000 miles. Other know this very well ...

With the current system SEN get only 2 vouchers on renewal while HON 6 vouchers on renewal

HON also get 2 Evouchers for each birthday. If you qualify for HON, worth updating your b'day in the profile to maximise returns.. Eg January/February is good!
