"ALIHANSA"

As read in Italian newspapers Lufthansa is still in pole position together with Air France to begin a not easy partnership with new Alitalia.

What would be news?

No strike within a month?
Record high sales of seats?
Mailand home-hub?
Replacement of old planes?
New design for AI?

As long, that 3 out of this 5 points are ticked of, there can not be "news".

Hope mental sanity will continue to reign on LH's carpet floors.

Investing into Austrian is like investing into AZ albeit on a smaller scale. To fix OS is already a huge task and will stretch LH's management resources for the next years as they will have to deal with:

Incompentent Management Levels
Stupid Socialist Unions
Oversized and overaged diverse fleet
Political Interference
Too many people on the payroll

Throw in the upcoming SN takeover in a few years you have a perfect recipe for desaster, if they fail in execution. Swiss was different as this was ( too) lean and mean and they had warm uplift from the economy during the integration phase.

LET Skyteam have AZ , Rome and Milan are a perfect match for CDG !!
