Assuming I still have to go through security before I can board, right ?
A little OT but I will also be in the FCL on Friday. I think we both might be on the LAX flight too from reading your other posts.

The Rimowa blue is the nicest.

What are the dimensions? Can only actually fit enough in there? I mean to use it for your usual toiletries

It is pretty small. Got them 2 weeks ago on FRA-LAX and today on LAX-FRA.
I dont have it in front of me but is is a little bigger than a normal postcard and about 2 inches / 5 cm deep. Too small to be useful.

Same size as the normal C class bag (better frame of reference for most of us)

Looks quite small judging by the photo (2nd link).

Contents look distinctly unimpressive.

I don't care about the contents. I had rather hoped that it was useful as a real amenity kid for my travel and not as a "dust catcher"

I doubt if you can fit a child in there , not even nappies/diapers but possibly a dummy/pacifier or two.

You cannot say this Oliver!

The TSA loves them - whenever I cross one of their checkpoints with my fluorescent yellow Rimowa micro trolley, I get the SSSS without even having it on my boarding pass!

One of those knuckleheads even asked me if it was a bomb. He was very proud that surrendered the competence back to him "Sir you are the expert, you tell me!".

That is the true meaning of exclusive ...
