QR award booking

hi everyone

I'm thinking about doing a QR award ZRH-DOH-BAH return in C-Class. I'm using the ANA tool to get some information about seat availability. As QR also operates A32S on the DOH-BAH leg, they don't offer C class (just F and Y), does this mean you will be booked into Y?
Does someone have any experience on QR?

cheers,
chris

Not sure whether the ANA tool will work with QR since they are not Star Alliance.

Edit: It does seem to work: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=844039

Make sure to check out the QR C price for a revenue ticket first. QR has some pretty amazing fares sometimes.

same question from me:

Currently planning DXB - DOH - MLE and v.v. Should be a Business-Class award.

DXB - DOH has only F and Y (i.e. O and X for Award)
DOH - MLE has only C and Y (i.e. I and X for Award)

Nobody at LH knows in which class the DXB DOH sector has to be booked.

Anybody here has clue?

circle = Seats available
triangle = Request available
X = Full
- = Not applicable

Just used the ANA tool to find free seats, called LH and got what i wanted.
I find the tool extremely reliable.
You get the black triangle when the ANA system cannot access the reservation system. Just try a few minutes later again.

I don't know which booking class QR uses, but it does not depend on M&M but on what QR defines.

thx very much! just registered to KVS
hope I'm going to find some availability...

ZRH-DOH-BAH around 26.nov
BAH-DOH-ZRH around 5. dec

could also fly from/to GVA if ZRH is full...
still worried what happens if you book a C ticket and get the A321 where no C is available

with QR you only pay like half of taxes and stuff compared to LH and others
