That is an explanation in it's own right already.

Back to topic: LH is usually quite good with branding issues so it wouldn't surprise me if we'd see a facelift in the near future.

I think LH F is up to "Made in Germany" standards, just like 15 year old Mercedes. It's not up to the latest fashionable design (and wasn't even when it's introduced), but it does it's job perfectly, and will probably still do when it's sold to another country in 5 years. And just like that there's a lot of happy customers while other people are rather interested in the latest ever-changing fashion..

Fully agree! This is one of the things I really like on LH! ^ So I can't relate to the OP...

Correct! But it also works if one allows "Germany" to be a free parameter and take on values other than "Germany"!

I like the "classic" outfit more than some of the US airlines which changed the livery so often that you can find 3-4 designs at an airport. Is this nice, just because you like to change something?

Mercedes was able to launch THREE new S-class models while Lufthansa was sticking to its F seat...

not wanting to nit pick here - but W220 was launched in 1998 - pretty much at the same time as current LH F and since then MB launched its replacement - W221 in 2005 so LH is running 3 years late in that comparison.

But to ease your pain on whether LH keeps the correct MB S at your service I am sure you will be pleased to learn that the FCT will receive an additional 15 MB Vans to extend the fleet....

Cheers
