Highlights:
Issuer is Barclays (Juniper).

20,000 welcome miles for the $79 p.a. card.
Not a bad package overall.

Main thing is the no expiry of miles - This is fantastic!:
"Unlimited validity of miles with Miles & More Credit Cards
* Your award miles will not expire after 36 months, but will remain valid for an unlimited time if you meet the following conditions:
- You are a Miles & More Credit Card holder for at least 3 months, and
- Each month you need to have minimum 1 purchase with the
Miles & More Credit Card (incl. partner card) which is eligible for miles - First time, the mileage decay defers as of September 30, 2007
* None of your award miles will expire - it doesn't matter if you earned/will earn them with flights, purchases or specials offered by other Miles & More partners"

The 15k for a balance transfer is cool too. Must read up what it costs to do that.
The companion ticket sadly is very limited. It basically will give you exactly the same Y ticket you buy. I would love to use it for my wife when we travel back to europe for a vacation next summer, but I will buy a C ticket and wouldn't want my wife and kid to sit in Y (or vice-versa).... no good start.

Thanks for the heads up - I'm in too! ^ 20k free.
Let us know what you find out. I can 0%APR for 6 billing cycles, but there are fees for the transfer. May have to transfer the balance from my most recent Citi AAdv MC

Is it possible to sign-up for multiple M&M credit cards from different countries? I'm in Switzerland and already have the Platinum Swiss Amex, but would like to use my USA address to get this new American issued card. Is there any problem crediting bonus miles from both cards to the same Swiss-based Miles & More account?
