Thinking about it now, would this imply that HON miles can be derived from Select miles, as in the only difference is that from Select miles one should subtract miles from tickets booked in economy?
The best deal is to use the Croatian D fares from W. Europe to the Balkan.

Yes, select miles are roughly the same as Hon Circle miles if flow in C/F.

Do you hae an example ?
Do you have to connect in ZAG or can ZAG be the final destination ?
I am flying to ZAG from W. Europe quite often and the fares are extremly high for business class....

Terminating in ZAG sort of kills the advanatge of racking up cross border segments to former YU countries....

CA is offering 1700€ returns to Australia for 1700€: CA: Germany to Australia ~€1700

This would yield about 20700 status miles on M&M... sale open for Feb 4-10

Yes, as long as you avoid Lufthansa Group itself this sort of thing could be quite lucrative.

Ex-CH is not too bad as well to Australia, and for CHF 1600.- the GVA/ZRH-PEK-SIN and -CGK routes yields up to 16'416 miles on M&M.

Any new suggestions ?
Can't find cheap OU fares anymore.

Would be open to intra-Europe flights (resulting in min. 10k miles incl. SEN bonus) starting anywhere in Europe or a longhaul flight.

Just a plain simple Lufthansa flight from their webpage. I was flexible on the timing, so was able to find class D for all segments. It did include an overnight stay at the airport hotel to get a Starriott hotel night too. If you're lucky and depending on your location, you might even find XXX-FRA/MUC/DUS/VIE-HEL at a reasonable price.

And to add to this, in general playing around with Lufthansa Group flights from a destination without direct flights to WAW I've been able to find similar deals. I did earlier this year TXL-MUC-WAW-ZRH-TXL for a similar price, which nets only 9375 miles because of the domestic segment. But it should be possible to find TXL-ZRH/VIE-WAW-ZRH/VIE-TXL for the full 10k. Also getting to TXL itself is easy and can be relatively cheap.

I did several WAW-MUC-FRA-AMS-FRA-MUC-WAW with direct turnaround in AMS this month. 13750 miles (inc. exec bonus), currently 787EUR on ITA Matrix.
Class D booked using TA.

Going for SEN or HON? 13750 sounds like you would have to do it more than 40 times for HON ...

Yes, lots of flying... around.... but that would have received 13,750 award mikes in the past, next to nothing now.
