No, 332 is the correct aircraft-type for FRA-PHL.
These planes were introduced last year to fill the gap left by the sold A340-200 and are leased. They were formerly operated by Swiss and Sabena and have the original interior in a two-class cofiguration. Good thing is that the ex-SR planes have inseat video in Economy if I am not mistaken, which is unusual for LH's fleet.
Greetings - Dirk

Next summer, there are two flights a day from FRA to Cairo.
One is a two-class 330 (flight 583 on 04 July), but the other is a three-class 330 (flight 589 on the same date), which shows a layout in F that is the same as the current A340.
What is the story with that aircraft?

I did a little more searching and answered my own question.

US also flies PHL-FRA with a 333.
Thus, two separate flights, both with an A330 aircraft. Note that US does not operate the smaller 332.
