SEN Birthday Card
Hi,
I'm now more than 7 years a SEN. I never got a Birthday-Card, except and the first time this year (for a view days).
Nice Card with transparent inlay with a gold leaf (4x4cm)...pretty nice.
Is this new?

No birthday cards here, but that's fine. Glad you liked it, but I personally would rather them invest the money in an enduring, meaningful benefit. If someone sees a birthdate on my ID and reacts spontaneously, or if they personally know me and acknowledge it, wonderful. But for an institution to just run the database, I'd tend to think, why bother.

Never got a Birthday card. Actually, I hardly ever get mail. Considering that Lufthansa doesn't even fly here I think this is not unusual.

Got a card this year in Germany for the first time ever.
I had a few paid F segments on SQ this spring and some LH/LX C segments - maybe this has to do with getting a birthday card...?

LH recently hired a new head of marketing who promised in an interview that LH will increase their efforts to ensure that SEN actually get treated as important customers. I guess there will be no new benefits but they will communicate benefits smarter than in the past - like the call I mentioned in another thread ("This is a special SEN privilege for our valued customers").
Your birthday card may already part of that new strategy.
