LOT Polish transatlantic business class

I see that LOT is part of M&M so thought I would try asking my questions here. I'd appreciate advice on anywhere else I might get info.

I'd like to know what the seats are like in business class on LOT 8 from Chicago to Krakow. I believe it is a 763 and that LOT has put in angled lie flat seats in 4 of their 5 763s. Are the new seats used on the ORD-KRK flight?

At lot.com it says the seat width in business class is 18". Is that the old seats or the new seats?

This is a picture of the new business class seat, wheras this looks like the old one.

I however do not know which seat is on which aircraft and how to spot the difference on the seatmap ?

This question was answered more than once here.

All planes did get the new seats during a very short period last year. There are 2 configurations, only difference in C: 2 rows vs. 3 rows.

Wow, the colors of the seats are somewhat lurid… Would make it difficult to feel comfortable at least for me.

You have to put that into perspective though. All together LO only bought app. 75 seats!

LH needs more than that per aircraft for some of the 747s.

Sure, but to put that into perspective: Each FTer flying LH C only needs one single seat. Is that asking too much?

aha

If the info is here at flyertalk I couldn't quite find it. But it finally occurred to me to do a web search for exactly what I was looking for: "LOT Polish Airlines Business Class from Chicago to Krakow" and found a review at skytrax from last September:
"New angled lie-flat business class seats, comfortable, fresh orange-blue suede leather." ... "Would recommend flying LOT direct rather than flying LH through FRA or BA through LHR for flights to Poland from North America."

That is exactly what I was looking/hoping for.

not sure if I'd call myself a big fan (actually I'd say not) but at least he doesn't look that lurid…

Probably I should change my signature…

I was a bit apprehensive about the seats' colors before my first flight in LO C, but they were fortunately not a bother.

Also, for the record, the new C seats are only installed in 763 aircraft, to the best of my knowledge. 762s still have the old (and very shabby) config.

Here is the LOT press release that describes the new C product.

Please see my recent trip report detailing LO's new C product, as experienced on March 26th while flying WAW-ORD.

EDIT: Post 772!

New C-seats on LOT long-haul

Hi to everybody!
Do anybody know, what kind of seat are thje new C-seats on LOT long-haul flights? Are they angled lie-flat (like on LH) or just coocon-style, but not lie-flat seats (as on ANA, I think)?
