Kosher Meal FRA-BRU

I was wondering how does Lufthansa cater their plane from FRA-BRU if one orders the Kosher Meal? I know its a short flight under an hour but I have had some decent sandwiches on European airlines. Can one get a glass of Wine on the short flight over?

Thanks

Meal Question

I remember back in June 07 when I flew on Lufthansa in Coach we got 2 hot Kosher meals from FRA-SFO and the meals to and from TLV were hot. I was wondering if I will get a hot dinner after taking off SFO 2:00PM and a Hot Breakfast before arriving FRA?

On the return from TLV at 5:20 AM will it be a hot breakfast? And then a Hot Breakfast/Lunch on the SFO flight arriving at 12:30PM SFO.

On Delta all we got was one hot meal and a cold breakfast. On Alitalia they served a cold meal.

It is so amazing that the American carriers are cutting back and on European carriers they give better food and beverage selections free of charge.

Even on a 1 hour flight you can get complimentary wine/spirits in coach. I never had Baileys in Coach until I flew on Lufthansa. I also had a Campari too. I thought these were drinks only for First and Business Class.

They really spoil you.

Vegetarian Meal ATL-FRA-ATL

I am flying ATL-FRA next week in Business and wanted to check if they typically have a vegetarian option normally available or should I special order a Vegetarian meal to be safe? What can I typically expect if I order the special vegetarian meal?

Thanks...

The business class menu is posted in the meal thread. Take a moment to read it and if the options don't suit you, book a veg special meal. Note that you should give them aprox 48h advance notice...@:-)

Recently I flew MUC-EWR-MUC in Y, ordered seafood meal and I think I will continue ordering it on my future flights. I was served baked salmon with rice, fruit salad (instead of a cake) for dessert, and some other type of salad with nice dressing. Before landing I received a tasty double decker fish sandwich (the regular option was vegetarian/salami pizza). The meal on the way back was similar, with a salmon/shrimp salad as a side and again a fruit salad instead of a cake for dessert. All in all, I highly recommend seafood meal, it seems to be a tastier and a healthier option than the usual chicken/pasta meal.

Lufthansa biz class "low cal" meal ?

In next two weeks I will be flying on LH A380 in business r.t. between Miami and Frankfurt.

In my other life I am a competitive bodybuilder and at that point 8 weeks out from my next contest. Obviously diet is of extreme importance. My requirement would be a "low fat, low carb" type of meal. Lufthansa offers nothing described like that other than a "low cal" meal which I have now ordered. That said, LH cannot tell me what that meal is in any detail.

Has anyone ever ordered that type of meal in business class on a LH long haul flight and if so, what exactly did you end up getting ? Sometimes I wonder if I might just be better off having the regular meal and sort of "pick around" things.

Any input or feedback would be appreciated.

Given the portions LH is serving in Business Class nowadays, everything is low carb, low fat, low calories...

On a more serious note, you might want to have a look here:

http://www.lufthansa.com/us/en/Special-meals

I think the Diabetic Meal might be what you are looking for.

"Reduction food" seems the obvious choice: Calorie-reduced meals, rich on dietary fibre, low on fat and carbohydrates.
