Flight attendant request in LH First.

A friend of mine who is an FA for Lufthansa told me that when travelling LH first you can request your flight attendant and they will schedule them for that flight. Anybody ever done this? I had read that about Swiss Air, so maybe LH is doing that to compete with them.
