Travel agent in Europe?

I need a good travel agent in Germany to help me plan a RTW for my brother. Sorry couldn't do a search due to temporary suspension of search function. Danke!

Not a TA but have you considered using the RTW Mileage Calculator tool (available for download from www.staralliance.com)? Very useful to get started. There are some threads on *A forum on this tool.

You can always talk to Destinations in Kempten. They are great.

Yes, I have used their services as well and am very happy with them. Ask for Carsten Fluegel (I think that was his name).

Cheers

travel agent in germany?

I have an itinerary that I found thro' matrix.itasoftware.com that I'd like to purchase. Since matrix.itasoftware doesn't allow for ticket purchase on their
site, I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a Web site that I can use to get these tickets (WNN29W fare code SCN-JAX (5 Dec) and JAX-SCN (27 Dec). The fare I'm seeing is Euro 134.50 one way + tax,et c.
IF it's possible to get this from a travel agent (any recommendations?), that'd
be great too. Any help appreciated...Thanks in advance!

Go to LH.com, use Ireland as "home country", and you'll get the ITA price w/o any service surcharges. No problem on an eTicket.

Thanks flysurfer
tried lufthansa.com with "Country of residence" as Ireland and got a fare of Euro 632 (vs. US$ 562.20 in matrix.itasoftware.com)....
Any other options? thanks for any help.

ITA is not always correct with their fares, did you price ITA with German / European residency?

No. I just went to matrix.itasoftware.com and didn't change any of the
defaults.

Then you priced an ticket issued in the U.S., and you should try USA as your country on LH.com.

with lufthansa-usa.com, the fare is 769.20.
Maybe matrix.itasoftware.com shows fares that are not bookable anywhere..
In any case, thanks, flysurfer, for your advice/help!

Is ExpertFlyer showing the fare? ITA sometimes sonstructs fares that only a TA can book, due to unusual carrier and codeshare combinations. I have some good experiences with www.distinctravel.de in this regard. He's a FTer.
