Which route/airline did you book and which class?
AUA-PTY-IST-LWO oneway in C with CM-TK-TK

How many pax and how many award miles?
1 pax, 60000 miles and 38.38 EUR

How many days/weeks/months did you book in advance?
11 months

Have you been able to book your preferred dates of travel?
Yes

Were you happy with the award booking procedure (e.g. online/by phone)?
Yes. Called to booked having checked the availability of each segment on united.com award booking tool prior. M&M agent could not see any availability when inputting AUA-LWO routing. After suggesting that each segment should be checked one by one, we built the the itinerary in under 5 minutes. Within 10 minutes, the eticket was issued. All went very smooth.

Which route/airline did you book and which class?
NRT-GUM-TKK ret on UA, class X (not exactly C or F, I know, but learnt some interesting while talking to the agent)

How many pax and how many award miles?
1 pax, 60000 miles and ~70EUR

How many days/weeks/months did you book in advance?
10 weeks

Have you been able to book your preferred dates of travel?
Yes

Were you happy with the award booking procedure (e.g. online/by phone)?
Yes. Called to book after having checked the availability of each segment on UA website. Got a nice lady (allegedly based in Berlin, when I inquired which call centre answered my call). All segments could be seen immediately, but on most only X was available. Not that it really matters on those short segments. Revenue tix for the same dates go for $1170, so a good deal in my book.
I also inquired about EU-TYO options for the given dates, but there was big fat zero in premium cabins. LO had outbound available in Y+, but when the agent tried to do a split award including Y+, the system refused. After investigating she came back and said split award with Y+ is not possible. Interesting. Haven't seen that mentioned anywhere before. So I ended up getting a revenue ticket in the end.
All in all very competent agent, after I mentioned that my replacement SEN card hasn't arrived yet she promptly investigated and told me the exact date it was shipped and asked me politely to give them a call should the card not arrive within a week.
Is there maybe a way to leave feedback for an agent handling a specific call even if I do not know her name?

The reservation you made will have the agent ID, so when giving feedback just mention the booking code of the PNR.

M&M does have a call center in Berlin (Ullstein Haus) who sit in the same section as our lurkers who respond to the thread. Sometimes the lurkers also take the call for SEN, just listen carefully for the name when they pick up

Which route/airline did you book and which class?
CMH/EWR/FRA, one-way, on UA/LH in Business Class 01MAR17

How many pax and how many award miles?
2 x 52,000 miles + 948EUR in taxes/fees.

How many days/weeks/months did you book in advance?
Same day (6 hours before departure).

Have you been able to book your preferred dates of travel?
Yes.

Were you happy with the award booking procedure (e.g. online/by phone)? How often did you have to check/call until you got the seats?
Yes. I called armed and ready for battle (with weapons out of the oliver2002 travel tips arsenal locked and loaded) to get a same-day award ticket issued, but I got a really sharp agent (from agent accent and background noise, I would say it was IST) who apparently knew exactly what to do and got us booked and ticketed within 15 minutes. Fees were steep, but great compared to alternatives (cheapest one-way fare in any class I could find for same day departure same origin/destination I could find was close to 3000EUR [2x 1500]).

This is now the second time recently that LH has saved my wallet during an urgent need by having same-day award space available from my remote departure point to FRA. M&M for me does indeed still seem to have some intangible redeeming qualities (pun intended).

One could legitimately argue that over 900EUR in fees is crazy for an 'award", but for two passengers for what is essentially a walk-up purchase of business class tickets, I find it a bargain. My wife and I got a good nights' sleep and were able to deal with urgent family matters immediately upon arrival.

Which route/airline did you book and which class?
SIN-FRA-ZRH-TXL, in F/C. SIN-FRA-ZRH on LH metal, ZRH-TXL on Swiss.

How many pax and how many award miles?
1x 105k miles and EUR 253.38.

How many days/weeks/months did you book in advance?
Month and a half.

Have you been able to book your preferred dates of travel?
Two days earlier then would be perfect, but still workable.

Were you happy with the award booking procedure (e.g. online/by phone)? How often did you have to check/call until you got the seats?
I used Hangouts to call in and my connection started to get really bad as soon as I jumped on the call, but the agent was really gracious and patient with me trying to tell him the CC number.

I checked every few days for a week to see how's the availability, but the missing miles I needed to book it only hit my account today — and I got my seats today, so I'm a happy camper
