Indeed, but it's actually Sabre that's showing the classes, so not restricted to ExpertFlyer.

i don't know from which system expertflyer extracts its information, but award classes are displayed on expertflyer for quite a while now (strangely not for each end every flight, but for most)

ExpertFlyer is apparently using non-direct LH Sabre queries (#), which only display award classes on certain LH flights. If they used direct access (@), it would work on all LH flights. Last time the "glitch" occured, they changed the access method to direct. Obviously, they didn't care to do that this time.

We are continuing to use "direct access" for LH Flight Availability when LH is specified as the only Airline Code. That is why the award classes are available at all.

If not every flight shows the classes it may be because they are not loaded into the system by LH or just not available. Historically, the ability to access them seems to come and go.

Now that's strange. Because my secret personal weblink to the Sabre system shows award classes for all LH operated flights, no exceptions, as long as I'm using direct access. However, ExpertFlyer doesn't show them for certain flights, even though "LH" is of course specified as the carrier of choice.

I checked a few more flights on my link using non-direct LH access and pretty much got identical results as through ExpertFlyer, meaning some flights show award classes, some do not. So, are you really sure you are using an "@LH" query as opposed to "#LH"?

Hmmmm! A "secret personal weblink to the Sabre system", must somehow have more access to information then our LH direct access via Sabre. And, yes, we use the appropriate coding to facilitate direct access for LH.

It is certainly possible that any differences may be attributable to the city code from which the query is being originated as airlines may present different inventory based on PCCs.

We look forward to a PM from you on specific flights/dates where you have found the results based on your access to Sabre differs from ours and will be more than happy to investigate it thoroughly. We too would like to understand the discrepancies.

Thank you for your support,
EFV

I found something. The LH award classes sometimes didn't show up when making queries from "saved queries". After "resaving" such a query without changing anything, the award classes showed up.

They also suddenly showed up after using the "refine" function and simply changing nothing. So maybe there's a little glitch regarding saved queries from the tiem before your latest site update?

Tried to book SIN-FRA on LH on 15/01/07 and expertflyer shows availability for 4 in O class but M&M online booking and M&M phone says that first available flight is on 18/01/07.
Can anybody explain this?

Looks like the availability varies by the GDS system. How many tix are you trying to book?
