I dont know, all these MUC is great songs here and FRA sucks: did FRA-MUC-EWR the other day. Went to MUC FCL just to be told to go to the Satellite Lounge (no transfer), upon arrival there I was told to take it easy because gate was only 5mins away, but then there were the passport checking queues which were horrible and I almost missed my plane. All this in F. If you ask me, I prefer the seamless experience in the FCT even if the food is worse and the champagne is not as fancy. Will avoid MUC for US bound flights in the future.

Ok, maybe belongs in a different thread but why did they not pre stamp your BP in the lounge ? they have integrated Immigration .
Please feed back to your HON PA

But catering wise MUC rocks & FRA is on the Rocks

thats a good idea. Will consider. In any event, even if they had, there was no way to pass the queues, as in no F/HON fast lane for those with pre-checked BP. And I was not in a mood to fight my way through a huge crowd so seems more a MUC organizational issue. Probably a simple escort to gate would have been sufficient. SIN, EWR, HKG offer these just the three ladies at the MUC F satellite couldnt be bothered and preferred to continue chit chatting (I am being a bit polemic here, but this was the situation).

Sure, that is not acceptable but given those Ladies in the FCL are literally next to Passport control its crazy, i never had a problem walking past those lines with a pre stamped BP from the FCL, however ex MUC was pre pandemic to USA, hopefully if you feedback they will fix it, so easy ex a FCL with integrated immigration

That's very w.t.f.

Even us plebs originating in FRA get our docs checked before entering Z passport control and then there is a bypass lane at the Z50 clusterpuck

Not quite the same situation in MUC but still should be solvable

Sounds like bad luck.

I flew to the U.S. ex MUC two weeks ago and there were no lines and the lounge proactively helped me with the in-lounge passport control. Gate was T2 not T2S though. That said, staff in T2S FCL were great and made sure I was exiting ok. (Went to both lounges), plus all smiles with the ducks etc.

Could totally have been bad luck. But then again it shouldnt be down to luck, the F experience.

LH412 went mechanical so I had dinner at T2S before heading to the airport hotel.

Menu

Buffet delights

Tom Kha Soup (hot tip: add teriyaki chicken from the buffet)

Tagliatelle (didnt need the beef - was excellent) The crunchy cauliflower really elevated the dish.
