LH Gold Card in Germany vs Status Miles

Can anyone tell me if LH issues Status Miles as well as the conventional Awards Miles using the LH Gold Visa Card issued by Bayern LB in Germany.
I receive Award Miles each month, but no Status Miles, is that correct?
Thx

You receive Bonusmiles for each Euro spent but no Statusmiles.
Considering Status it is the same as the blue M&M Card = No Status.
No Loungeaccess, no excesbaggage!
With the Creditcard your Miles will last forever.
The Gold-Card gives you some more insurances than the Blue Creditcard.

That's fully correct. Only award miles not status miles for the credit card purchases.

business package

Additional benefits of the business package
Complete vehicle insurance for rented cars: comprehensive car insurance with a deductible of just € 230.00. The annual fee will thus pay for itself after just a few rentals.
actually I think this is the most important benefit of LH visa gold, cause it saves you a lot of money

And for sure the Hertz CDP which gives you great rental rates ^, at least for compact and intermediate. Fullsize and premium Sixt is unbeatable using SEN or HON discount (especially the weekend rates).

BTW I second dia15222 and TheAirman. No status miles and no other perks. Airplus lounges are almost scary and you have to pay to get excess.

If you are a LH SEN you will automatically get the SIXT Platinum Card. Using this card, the appropiate rates will be shown on the SIXT homepage.

But be aware!!!!! The rate is definitely unbeatable, BUT it does not include CDW. This is included if you pay with your LH Gold Card. The only problem is: If you happen to have an accident you will have to deal with an insurance broker calles FidesSecur in Munich, and they are really bad.

Happened to me about half a year ago, I am still waiting for my money.

Have a look to the Sixt thread

As mawi suggests you just need to apply for the platinum card and that's it.
BWT there is an promotion right now: Apply for Sixt plat and you'll earn additional 3000 bonus miles. The flyer was part of LH exclusive.

You can also pay with an AMEX Platinum or Centurion card (if you have one). This also has CDW insurance covered.

The Sixt Platinum weekend rates are absolutely fabulous, especially if you do not need to pay for insurance ! ^
