Two LH MM Credit Cards on One MM Account?

I just looked at the MM credit card offers and was wondering whether it would be possible for me to apply for a German CC and a US CC and get the miles posted to the same MM account. I have bank accounts in both countries and it would be very nice to get around the conversion rates and fees by using my USD card in the US and my EUR card in Europe while accrueing miles with both cards. Does anybody have any experience with this?

Thanks!
Axel

Sure, I have both the US and the German card. Why should that be a problem? They are two totally diferrent banks, anyway.

You can also have two cards in germany crediting miles to the same M&M account. I've asked LBB and they said it is quite common. However, you don't get any sign up bonus or status rebate on the yearly fee on the second LBB card.

But the second card will not be a status card (i.e. if you are SEN or FTL the second card will be blue.)

The American MM credit card shows no status, either. Neither does UA's card, btw.

I wasn't worried about the banks rather about LH not accepting mileage postings from different ccs.
I agree there shouldn't be a problem but with LH you never know!

Thanks a for all the replies!
