Question Fly Smart - Destinations in Europe

My father has 15k miles (expiring this winter) which he won't use, but will let me fly them for a Fly Smart Award: -> Eco inside Europe.

Now I'm searching for an "interesting" destination that I can reach with this award.
I'd preferrably go for a destination that LCCs don't serve (at low cost!!!). Not very far from CGN & HHN, I've already been to several capitals and other places with LCCs.

So, can anyone suggest me a place worth visiting this fall (say 2-4 days weekend-trip)? Thanks in advance!

Hi,

FlySmart takes you to any destination on the European LH network, so you can go wherever you fancy! Tell us a bit more about what sort of place you would be looking at and maybe we can suggest something!

Cheers

/bt

How about ....... DUS?

CGN-DUS tickets are quite expensive, so well worth to take an award.

proposal for fly smart destination

what about enjoying a cosy italian city? e.g. Naples or Florence
or prolonging summertime with portuguese fado music and grilled sardinhas in Lisboa?

if you else fancy some eastern european destination off the beaten track why not try OS services to the balkans or baltic countries (skopje, tirana, riga)?

happy journey!

How about russian cities like; Perm, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Samara?
Russia is part of Europe (anyway in M&M definition).
Country classification

Just if you have arranged very expensive Russian visa.

Costa de la Luz

I am heading for Tarifa myself this month. I hear it is the wind surfers paradise! This would be a great way to extend the summer!

Well, Russia, LED came to my mind, but visa and climate don't make it easy.
Warm Southern Europe would be my thoughts. LIS, IST, MLA, PMO... always wanted to go but never got a cheap flight. Who has been there? Any thumbs up or down for these destinations?

btw: when will LH/AUA fly to KEF again? Early summer?

hi!
just my two cents: on your way to south europe you usually get cheap flights (e.g. CGN-LIS/FAO about 40,-), also sardinhas season is getting to the end...
i can only agree that russian cities are the best value for money, however visum formalities have prevented me from going there. balkan cities should be good value too
the best use i make of flysmart, are my trips from south europe to the baltic cities. being partially based in vilnius, i can only suggest you to spend a long weekend in town. you will love it!
cheers!
