Sorry, but the Links I posted are only working when logged in to your payback account as they are from the Payback Couponcenter in the account..

Worst miles per Euro ratio?

Galeria Kaufhof has a new Payback Maestro Card which replaces the previous Payback Plus Card. One "benefit" is getting points for paying with the card: For every 10 Euros spent one gets 1 point which equals to 1 mile.

Just for today, on their Advents Calendar, Payback is offering 7x points for all Germanwings flights. Of course, you have to be a Boomerang Club member first, and select Payback instead of Meilen (miles) as the earning option. But here's the question: is it better to collect 3,000 Boomerang Club miles for round trip flights (1,500 for one ways), or go for the Payback offer? I don't really use Germanwings all that much.

Boomerang Miles are only valid for 24 months. So unless you don't make at least 16 one-way trips in two years with them you might better stick with the Payback option.

Payback is giving 10 000 P for 1 year Gala (135€) or 1 year Spiegel (180€) via Deutsche Post Leseservice:
https://www.payback.de/pb/leserservice/id/221038/

Since my wife likes to read the LH issued Gala, I went for it. Not a a great deal pointwise, but mama is happy and we have some more M&M points.

FAZ is back with a 57€ 6000 point abo too:

LH tranfer date

Hi,

A significant amount of my Payback points will expire before the end of Sept. So I recently registered via the M&M page to get these points transferred in the next transfer period in Sept.
I am curious when will these points be transferred? I did not find any date on when these transfer will take place.

Cheers!

You can "manually" transfer the points, too, and they usually get credited to your M&M account in the next day or two.

Only if OP has 1000 or more. The transfer to M&M doesn't work if the amount is lower than that.

For me, they will be automatically transfered in September (and March) anyway but I don't know if this happens for all accounts or if the date is individually.

I've converted my payback points into M&M miles a couple of times. It never took longer than 3 days for the miles to appear. It's the best way to rescue your points, imho. And then, if you get a M&M credit card, the miles don't ever expire!

Make one 2500 € "berweisung" from your credit card to a wife/relative/good friend's account. You'll get 2500 miles for a price of 1.25%*2500=31.25€.

Or transfer 2500 P Payback Points into LH M&M. You can grab some quick ones here:
1500 P for Surf Stick (39.90€)
500P for FONIC SIM Card (9.95€)

or here (if you prefer DM)

You can sell the Surf Stick on e-Bay later. You can also transfer the credit on both SIM cards back onto your account, so it would be then even cheaper.
