1000 miles for booking (no, not on lufthansa.com)

but on expedia.de, travelchannel.de and opodo.de for those who have a payback account. normal will be 500 but right now you get double points... payback points can be transferred 1-1 into miles.
travelchannel has some really strange fares.. incredibly cheap taxes on the following routing: BRE-(LH)-CDG-(UA on US)-PHL-(US)-BOS-(UA on LH)-FRA-(LH)-BRE for about 280 EUR plus 36 EUR (!) taxes... if I would need to go, I would probably book this

even on Germanwings.de even for 1 EURO bookings !?

Gotta try tonight, as germanwings is going to sell tickets for CGN-LGW for 1 EUR incl. tax.
Not sure if the douple points promotion is already included in the 500 miles per booking or if you can just book as often as you want and get 1000 points/miles per 1 Euro...
gotta try: 1.000 Tickets fόr 1 €* inkl. aller Steuern und Gebόhren auf der
Strecke Kφln - London/Gatwick. Buchbar am 30.4. von 19 Uhr
bis 23:59 Uhr
and according to payback.de 500 points per booking

dear mith, how do you manage to get a routing like
BRE-(LH)-CDG-(UA on US)-PHL-(US)-BOS-(UA on LH)-FRA-(LH)-BRE
in opodo and not loose your last bit of patience to get a pricing?

Regards Oliver

that was just a normal (!) fare that showed up on travelchannel.de when i put in something simple like BRE to PHL on some date in May and back a week later... it came up right away... but the taxes must have been really miscalculated.
it seems to be gone now.

actually whats interesting is that after aug. 1st. a roundtrip on germanwings will earn more Prδmien-miles than a 92 Euro roundtrip in lufthansa in T, since one can book each segment seperately on germanwings.de , while on opodo you can only get the bonus once when booking Lufthansa - cause you need to buy the roundtrip.

Sorry, it's the first time that i book a germanwings flight over this way (payback).
But all other points (Kaufhof etc...) come 2-4 days later.

I gotta find an address in Germany.

140*1EUR=140EUR for transatlantic FIRST CLASS with Lufthansa. A pretty good deal if you ask me.

Got the miles ;-)

@mith Thank you very much for the hint with Payback, it worked very well! ^

I have just checked my payback account and I was quite happy to see the extra payback points, which will be automatically converted 1:1 into Lufthansa Miles.
I have booked two flights with Germanwings for 1 € each and got 580 + 580 payback points for them. I do not know why they give 580, as it is said that you get 500, but I do not have a problem getting 80 points extra.
In addition to those points I did get also 696 points for booking at opodo!!!

As the offer with the 1 € flights is gone, I was wondering, if there is another shop, where you can get alot of miles for one cheap transaction.

Here is the link with the shops and the information how many miles you can get per transaction.
http://shopat.zanox.com/(yqxvnr55wip...ductid3=579827

Jamba http://www.jamba.de/ sells Music Files online for 1,39 € per download
If this offer includes the promotion, you should get for each transaction 400 Miles!!!

I have bought one music file so far, but did not get any miles yet. It might be, that the music files are not included in this offer.

Buying bulbs with one of the online shops for 1,98 € ist not realy an alternativ, as you have to pay for the shipment 5,5 € which leads to a price of 7,48 € for 600 Miles.

Has anybody better ideas, how to use this promotion?

Since jamba only has low priced items, I do not see how they could talk their way out of giving the points. I have just purchased 10 items, so I expect to get 4000 miles!

However it is a bit tedious ordering with them.

I had ordered some Jamba downloads last saturday (may 1rst) and no points on my payback account yet. Today I sent a note to payback to see what is happening there. Whereas "Otto" purchases show immediately after one day, I doubt a little bit the reliability of Jamba. As soon as someone has suceeded in getting payback points of Jamba purchases, pls post.
