Hi there

I'm travelling HKG-FRA-LON in W Class. I am *A Gold. Does anyone know if there is an extra baggage allowance on LH for *G's? Is this an official policy, or will I have to chance it at check-in?

Should be the same as if you would be LH Senator - so you have the extra baggage allowance ...

StarGold is an extra 20kg (total of 40kg if weight concept applies) - on/to NorthAmerica (or on an entire rtw ticket) it would be one extra piece of luggage (total of three).
