LH Global IT system outage 15FEB2023
Global IT system outage for LH flight planning system. Planes will be boarded manually but system needs to be operational for departure.

is really only flight planning affected?

4 major glass fibre cables got severed at a construction site in Frankfurt last night:

It seems they not only destroyed the cables but also poured concrete over it. The replacement is in progress and will take all afternoon.
FRA seems to be in bad shape with aircraft piling up:

FRA closed for arrival till 1500 UTC; D-ABYM diverted to MUC. Some departures have resumed, LH454 to SFO and 442 DTW and 448 to STL have just started moving on the ground.

Probably not, since it was "force majeure", construction works on a rail line knocked out a significant part of Frankfurt's internet infrastructure. It just so happens that the airline headquartered in FRA took the brunt of the blow.
