Lufthansa ORD checkin counter hours

Unable to find this simple information on the cluttered Lufthansa site.
Does anybody know the hours for the Lufthansa checkin desk at ORD (terminal 1)?

I'd be interested to know the hours, too. Talked to the SEN Line a couple of weeks ago and despite the fact that the agent consulted with the supervisor they were unable to find this information online or in internal sources.

It depends on the day of the week on days with 4 flights a day, its usually two hours before first flight until late.

Early check in at ORD for LH0435?

I was suppose to fly home on SK945 tonight but woke up to SMS and e-mail saying that my flight has been cancelled, and now was rebooked to LH435 instead.
Since I have no plan for Chicago today I had planned to go to the airport early and utilize the possibility to check during the SK946 window and the head over to Polaris.

First question: Is it possible to do same for LH, checking in my bag for MUC bound LH0435 when check-in desks are open for LH0431?
Second question: Does the LH check in desk close between LH0431 and LH0435?
I'm flying business and have Star Alliance Gold status if that matters.

You can drop off your bag around 2pm at the earliest when the checkin for LH431 opens (aprox 1.30p). As nice as the Polaris lounge is, 6 hours there will be boring... ? Checkin reopens around 6.30-7p for the 9.25p MUC flight.

Thanks oliver2002
So basically I then have a window between 2pm and 3pm if I choose to do an early check in.

I dropped a data point in the F/HON outstation thread the other day. My experience on 19/4 was that, with many people in line, the staff came out and sort of set up, moved signs and lines around at 1745 and then they all disappeared until 1813, at which point they slowly re-appeared, leading me to believe the 2nd block was actually 1810, or exactly 3 hours before LH435 departure... Plus a couple extra minutes for "Chicago time," even though I thought I'd also seen 1800 on the digital sign before they changed it to another display.

Its seem their duty starts at 1730 with a briefing, then setup and start of actual acceptance at 6pm. Until 5.30 the signs display this:

Confirms what I thought I saw (1800). Also confirms their inability to start on time since we sat there until 1813. It also didn't seem like anything specific was causing the delay as 2 of the people helping with set up could be seen off to the right, tapping away on phones or socializing with ANA ticket staff.
