Allocated seats removed/re-allocated

Hi,

Reserved seats on a short haul flight, paid for, seem to have been re-allocated(possible large group booking?). Flight very busy and very little other options.

What are my rights in relation to this, would like to know before I contact customer service. Booked the seats months ago, bit annoyed when I checked today to see NO seats are selected at all now.

You don't have rights where seat selection is concerned unfortunately.

They should refund the fee but it might be more effort to get it than it's worth.

Agree, however LH taking the pax money & running is not ok, shame there is no compensation for that like involuntarily downgrade

You reserved a seat category (window, middle, aisle, extra legroom), not a specific seat. So technical, LH can put you in another seat of the same category.

Happened to me once. I told at check in that I expected the reservation fee refunded, and they did.
