Wanted to verify, ZRH-SFO on LX in F as senators would get about 75k status miles round-trip?

Well, GCmap says 5075 nautical miles ZRH-SFO. It’s kind of annoying that LH don’t show you exactly what mileage they use except through the ridiculously time-consuming M&M app... But nm on GCmap seems pretty close...

So 5075x2 = 10150
10150x3 = 30450
25% of 30450 = 7612
30450 + 7612 = 38062
38062 x 2 = 76125

Won’t be exact but looks like you’re more or less right..

According to the M&M app (as a SEN) you will earn 37870 status miles, multiplied by 2 equals 75740.

Your mistake here is 25% applies to base miles, not total. eg in A class you earn 325% normally and 650% with promo. not 300%*1.25 = 375% x2

The Miles and More offer on the website says two different things. Which is correct?

"Quote your Miles & More service card number when booking, or present it at check-in."

But then under terms and conditions:

"Only flights for which your Miles & More service card number was specified at the time of booking are included."

I ask because my M&M number did not register during booking. (I'm not sure if I forgot to add mine, as I was doing the whole family's booking, or if something else caused it not to register.) Does this mean I won't get double miles? After booking, I added it via the LH app, but I'm not sure that will cut it. In which case, I may switch to a different frequent flyer card.

No worries, the FFP number that is mentioned at checkin will work.

Thanks to the double status miles promotion and my one ATH-ORD-DEN-LAX-ZRH-ATH A class roundtrip, I'll be close to 100K by the mid-September.
Since my outbound ATH-DEN flights got me FT status, any thoughts as to whether I can now start getting status miles bonuses from CC usage?
Or did I have to have FT status when the promotion was announced?

Yes you can. I did this with my mother thid year. She created MM account in March, April FT and she applied for MM CC in May. She got 5k start bonus and status miles for spending. She is now Senator (just crossed 100k mark few days ago).
