New LH winter holiday long haul destignations (LH /Eurowings) - upgrades possible?
These 'new' flights you can buy on LH page, but only some are operated by LH and some by Eurowings (and one to MRU - op. by Brussels for Eurowings, in fact I target this designation). Are these flights upgradeable using United PlusPoints and if the lowest upgradable booking class is Q? Would it be 40 points per leg, right? United lists these fares as upgr: Q, U, H, M, B, Y, C, D but for LH flights.
I'm not sure if the flights must be operated by LH to be eligible for the upgrade? Would these upgrades use the standard 'I' inventory bucket? Is it possible to reserve the upg/ waitlist it using the online tool ?
Any advice on this topic welcome.
