I have not been on an A340 yet but I suspect that the reason is that they are more suited for disabled than the window and aisle. People in the center seats don't need to move for others, no climbing over or being climbed over. I would guess the last two because they are nearer the toilets. To answer your question I wouldn't think they are more accessible but probably more convenient.

The location on the last row will make sure that no person sitting there will cause a problem to others in case of an evacuation. Probably the same reason for infants im car seats or pets in cabin are only permitted in window seats. The seats are the same, but is serves the safety interest of others.
