Double Booking on Swiss?
I'm booking a roundtrip from CDG-ZRH-SFO-ZRH-CDG on Swiss. However, I don't want to return to CDG, but instead book a separate ZRH-BUD segment (also on Swiss). Will this be a problem (such as cancelling my separate ticket)? Should I not put my frequent flier number on the separate ticket? Thanks.

Yes, it will be a problem, the bot will see the overlapping fights & it’s not permitted by LH group

No it will not be a problem - have done it many times in the last 14 months.
The bot is, based on my experience, not checking bookings on different routes.
But to be on the save side do not enter your FFN in advance.

Interesting, not sure I would want to risk it & LH could reprice the original itinerary if they found out.
