Short haul vegan?

Hi Guys,

I've booked LHR/SOF via MUC, its a 4pm flight out so I expect a pasty, my flight from Munich is 8pm and seems to be an hour and a half, therefore I expect them to give a sandwich I guess? I don't heat meat, I can't request a special meal, what can I do to ensure I get something? If I had longer in Munich I would have bought a sandwich I have a short turn around?

Thanks

It's the right answer. Some European carriers won't even allow you to select special meals in intra-European C (e.g., KL).

It will probably be best to bring your own food. Easy as that.

Often there are two choices of sandwichesó meat or cheese- neither of which would be acceptable to a vegan. Best to bring your own food.

There are no choices for a vegan, unfortunately you will have to bring your own food.

And with the current catering issues, you cannot count on any food, even in J Intra EU.

Vegan food is like rice crackers and chickpeas right? Pop along to Lidl and pack a tupperware box. My life partner is often on diets and they/them pack food in tupperware all the time.

Cheese?

There is often cheese on the C tray. Just pick at it.

I didnít think vegans eat cheese.

By the way. Thereís some decent take away options in LHR T2.

There seem to be a few misunderstandings on the part of the OP.

If he means vegetarian, things are quite different.

Maybe as a cost-cutting measure LSG now only uses analogue cheese instead of dairy cheese . Analogue cheese is vegan friendly.
