A340-300 or A380 in J for ICN
 
Hi,

I’m flying from FRA to ICN in J with LH.
What is recommended between an A340 with no F, in J, or in J on A380? One is via Nanjing, the other via Shanghai.

A380 is quiet, but J cabin is only 5 rows in A340 🤔

You should ask yourself "am I better off connecting in NKG or PVG", and then book the nonstop LH712 or a connection in MUC...

unfortunately those are not other options. I’m on award companion tickets, and those routes are not available...

I see, regardless I would focus on the quality of the connection. J seats on LH are pretty much the same, barring that of course the A380 is a better plane IMHO.

EDIT: NKG is even worse than I expected.

you might want to consider the potential fellow customers in your J cabin, for your overall comfort... PVG might be more likely to have more westerners in J than Chinese...
