Flight 459 sfo-Muc always late?
 
Was supposed to leave at 8:55 left at 9:40 last night. Stats say late 69% ofbthe time. Anyone know why?

The aircraft usually gets to SFO a bit late and thus departs later, too. However, arrival at MUC is almost invariably ahead of schedule, despite the late departure.

Maybe stronger than expected headwinds on the way to SFO and stronger than expected tailwinds on the way from SFO to MUC.

My guess is waiting for connex passengers, etc.

But the wait etc is calculated in the STD and STA. The flight is very often on time / ahead of schedule - even when it leaves SFO slightly delayed.
