TP Full-fare economy ticket being credited lowest possible miles
A couple weeks ago I had a roundtrip between OPO and LHR, both with a layover in LIS, booked through TAP website. It was a full-fare economy ticket (TAP has 4 possible economy fares to choose from).
After my flights, I was credited:
- OPO - LIS: 250 miles
- LIS - LHR: 500 miles
- LHR - LIS: 125 miles
- LIS - OPO: 125 miles
So, in 2 flight segments I got the lowest possible amount of miles and in the other 2 I got lower miles than what I was expecting for a full-fare ticket. Has this happened to someone else before?
I have tried contacting TAP (they said miles credit is a responsability of Lufthansa since it's my miles program) and Lufthansa (they said they credited the miles accordingly to the booking class) but I still can't understand it...

While reporting to *A partners, TAP seems to adopt a new booking class based on BOTH the original booking class and the fare bucket (discount, basic, classic, or plus). Many discussions on the European Airlines forum, and the consensus is 1) neither before nor after the ticket purchase was it clear how much mile credit you would get at partner airlines program, and 2) you get usually less or much less miles.

Hmm... TAP in economy has discount, basic, classic and plus. These book into the same low booking classes (if they are open), so a plus ticket can be had for <200€ rt OPO-LHR which would bookinto O or T (125 Miles/Segment in M&M). TP no longer has 'full fare' tickets.

Well it's the same with LH: you can have K flex and Y light, priced accordingly, which earn according to the fare class and not the perceived "fullfaredness".

Where can I find information about that? How can you know for sure what class your booking? Because I find it to be really vague and obscure on airlines websites and booking tickets

For LH its on the website under "booking class details" when you click on a certain flight. For TP it's basically impossible to find out, there's a thread about it in the other European airlines forum.

The Lufthansa website itself is fairly clear about what class on Lufthansa/LH group you book into, regardless of the status of light/classic/flex. Light changes baggage limits and potential rebooking/refunds, classic is rebookable, but not refundable, flex is refundable at a fee. Your status mile earnings stay the same, regardless of the subset of the booking class. Award miles are a function of money paid.

It was a full-fare economy ticket (TAP has 4 possible economy fares to choose from).
You mixed up "fare classes" and "fare family". Fare Class determines mileage earning. Fare Family (a newly introduced concept) determines added services (seat selection, bag, rebooking etc.).

Miles with TP not crediting
Hello everyone, I'm still quite new on the flying world (I've been lucky to be able to do it quite often this year) so I'm sure I'm still making many newbie mistakes.
I've recently flown a roundtrip with TP. Outbound segments (2) were Y some weeks ago, inbound segments (2) mixed Y and C (after bid upgrade cleared 48h before departure) this last week. Despite having my M&M number inserted during the check-in process, my outbound flights never got any miles credited. I made a claim using the M&M website and after +/- 24h I received a message through the same website saying that those flights were not eligible for earning miles. As far as I can see (and understand) from the M&M website, I suppose I should have earned at least the minimum amount of miles for those flights (my booking class is never stated anywhere...) since it was a revenue non-promotional ticked booked through TAP website...
I've questioned M&M about this and they've forwarded it to TAP to clarify this situation, but does anyone has a clue about this?
Second part but quite the same, my inbound C segment got no miles credited. My Y segment was credited on the next morning after the flight (this segment was rebooked by TAP due to a misconnection after a delay, unfortunately I just landed slightly shy of the 3h mark ). I have not made a claim not questioned M&M about this because this just happened a few days ago. And I pretty much just need the miles from these flights to be credited so I can make senator on my next long-haul in 3 weeks otherwise I'll just hit it later his year.
All help and hints are appreciated.

I think the issue you are facing is most probably due to the booking classes. Although you say that these were never stated anywhere my experience is that they're visible when booking on the TAP web site and they're also given in the 'Electronic ticket - passenger itinerary receipt' that you should have received (it's one of 3 emails that TAP seems to send following any booking).
Regarding you upgraded return segment, I imagine this booked into P which earns nothing with M&M, I fell foul of this myself earlier in the year. Tried to recredit to A3 where it should have been worth something but was rejected by them too - still waiting for a reply to my follow up.
