Yup. Went ahead and spent $2k more to leave from LHR because Eurostar + one night at the Crillon comes out to the same price (not including that I have to use more of my time by leaving a day earlier).

Not sure if it counts, but a Star F RTW on LH (4 LH longhaul in F) stock for approx. 12000 Euro (from NRT)

How many HON points did you accrue for that?

Hopefully a substantial portion of your road to HON isn't self funded.

Unfortunately if it happens it will be 100% self-funded.

I'm sorry to pry. What part of your life requires personal travel of 300k miles every year?

None. But since I can manage my business from any remote location and I like to travel 3-4 months a year I tought it would be a nice challenge.

I splurged and spent 40000 LifeMiles for JFK-FRA-MEX on the 747 with the bed and the 748! Memories....

The cheapest was definitely a USDM F redemption at 30k (agent quoted everything as biz award by mistake) for DME-ZRH-SIN-ICN-FRA-ZRH-DME as ZRH-SIN-ICN (on SQ Suites) booked into fullfare F due to a rebooking .
