Baggage allowance on award round trip ticket, business going, economy return?

Okay, as the title states, I need some clarification on baggage allowance on an award ticket, as I am getting two different answers from Lufthansa phone representatives.

I booked a round trip award ticket through United on Lufthansa (one booking, not two one-ways). I am in Business on my outbound from SFO-MUC, but in Economy on my return flight MUC-SFO. I have been told two different things. One rep told be I will get Business baggage allowance the whole way, as my journey started in Business and since it is a round trip ticket, the return allowance follows the first leg of the journey. But I have also been told the return trip will only get Economy baggage allowance.

Can anyone clarify this for me please?

You will get Business baggage allowance the whole outbound (assuming the transatlantic leg is in C), even some other continental legs on the outbound are in Y. On the return (assuming the transatlantic leg is in Y), you will only get the Economy baggage allowance.

The United booking confirmation will list your allowance in detail (ie separate lines for SFO-MUC and for MUC-SFO). That is the only information you should follow.
