Very disappointing visit to Plaza Premium First lounge last night, arrived at 21.00 for the MUC flight which departs at 23.05 & the wait for the showers was ridiculous, next availability at 23.30 & this is a F lounge, not great wine choices & the food ok, so went over to SQF for a shower & it’s super quiet there now LX & LH F pax use Plaza

Yes, showers are much better, still not resolved the poor aircon in the F section, J was cool & F super hot

What's the earliest one can get airside at HKG before their flight? Same-day b.p. or a certain number of hours? Thanks.

As soon as you have a BP for that day, if you need to obtain one at the counter, for LH elites & *A Gold, the early counter opens at 18.30, otherwise it’s 3 hrs before the flights.

Thanks. I’ll be flying out on one of the LCCs, so I’m not sure if I’ll have a mobile b.p. or if I’ll need to get one at the airport.

What do you call this? Almost as bad as the MAN T1 Aspire Lounge!

At 21:00 they claim there are 32 people waiting for the shower! See my post above re showers in the SQ lounge! Just as well I had a shower before I left the hotel. They booked me for a massage instead.

Nothing anywhere could be as bad as the latrines outside MAN T 1 ‘Aspire ‘

No sign of any counter open at 19:20.
Unless there are staffing problems, because of the troubles, the LH & LX special counter always opens at 18.30

Ok, that’s a massive fail again for Plaza Premium F, I provided feedback & the excellent station Manager @ HKG took it up with them & they promised no more shower issues for LH & LX F pax.

The special counter is at the LX / LH check in area, F block .

It’s a First Class lounge so they need sufficient showers, trouble is they sell access ....
