Aren‘t they due for refurbishment?

But we move too much off topic, I guess.

Moving back on topic, outside of CX F lounges your best bet would be the Centurion lounge which you can access with an AmEx Platinum. Not everyone can afford the high AF but for many it's worth it as it means they don't have to be on the treadmill that is status re-qualification every year and gives them access to other travels perks that may be useful (i.e. Fine Hotels & Resorts). Outside of the 2 aforementioned lounges, are there any other "public" lounges OP might want to consider buying into?

They have restrooms inside the lounge.

The SQ showers were out of service in August. I'm shocked to hear they still aren't available.

HTB.
Yes, I would not use the TG showers, Yuk...

SQ showers are now operable, just the toilets still out of action & you need to go to the restrooms outside.

LH F ticket does not get access to CX lounges, LX F used to use the Wing but not sure if that’s still the case.
Was told by my F PA that they were directing LH F pax to either TG or SQ lounge.
Hello

Transiting in HKG in a few days, CX J into LH F. What are my best options ? No fancy amex card nor status.

Best bet would be using a CX/OW lounge on arrival from your CX flight then head straight to the gate to board your LH flight.

CX/OW have different lounge access rules from LH/ *A , you are permitted to use their lounges in HKG based on your inbound BP, even if your onward flight is on another carrier.

The CX arrival lounge, which is closing, was for pax terminating in HKG & is landside.

What do you mean there are no restrooms at *G SQ lounge in SIN? You do know there are other SQ lounges other than *G in SIN, right? To categorize them all as meh are a bit unfair, don't you think?
