I got the same email. I noticed it also said that would be the last extension which is fine if they launch another card before then.

Just had an email statement saying that 183k miles will expire on 31/3/2022, not 30/06/2022 as per previous email.

I have no confidence though so I'm plannning on burning my miles before the end of March just to make sure.

I have received this response:
"We do apologize for the erroneous information displayed on your account and can confirm that no miles should expire on March 31st. We can confirm that, having been the holder of a Cornercard Miles & More credit card, your miles are protected until 30 June 2022. We would like to reassure you, that, should an expiration happen by this date, please let us know in order for us to restore your miles."

Mileage expiry is an automated process, hence information that you have found in your account online is a general indication of expiry under normal circumstances. We assure you that your award miles are protected until 30 June 2022. However, after this date, normal mileage expiry conditions will apply.

That's wise. I was told by the call centre in SA that they would reinstate miles to June expiry as goodwill after the official March 2022 expiry date they cannot alter. Do not trust goodwill offers!!
