Strong faeces smell in FRA A13 Business Lounge

Two of my good pals were taking a break from BA Barb's premium cabins and flew FRA-BCN with Lufty the other day in C. They reported the smell of the toilets in A13 was vile, they were dirty, and it permeated throughout the lounge. He exactly said the "whole place smelled of s..t" and the toilets were "disgusting" and "Barb has nicer toilets with lounges that don't smell of s..."

I've never visited a LH Business Lounge, is that a common occurrence in A13? I know its a busy lounge.

Positively, they commented the onboard service was very good on LH and better food than a flight on equivalent length with BA. Thankfully back via MUC so I don't expect any odorous reports.

The LH A lounges are too crowded, but they are clean. It must have been a temporary issue.

It must have been a problem, hopefully solved now. In all my visits to this particular lounge the toilets are always clean.

Don't they serve beans in that lounge on Tuesdays?

I think they officially call it Taco Tuesday...but yeah, they got beans. The lounge is very popular on Taco Tuesday.

I’m delighted to report that the return via MUC was a particularly odourless experience.

The Latvian chocolates in C went down a right treat, thanks to Papa Lufty for introducing us all to new 5 Star tastes! Perhaps Lufty needs to make same decrees at SN & LX, Latvian choccies from now on.

You're aware that any Swiss and Belgian is now legally allowed to kill you on sight, right?

(I'm aware it was a joke about the cr*p quality onboard the "we-pay-money-to-get-5-stars" LH )

This thread would appeal to grade school boys who always get a chuckle at passing gas or anything number 2 related.

Indeed, it's like something from an American comedy script!

I felt it was rather noteworthy for a 5* SkyTrax carrier to have a lounge emanating such wretched odours.
