EW vs. SN - who will do what in the LH Group?

EW vs. SN - who will do what in the LH Group?
I have read this article on ch-aviation, which seems to suggest that SN will be the long haul airline and EW will do short haul.
What I can't quite figure yet is what this means in terms of planes/products customers will fly on:

- No more EW branded planes on longhaul? Or will this be planes that are on the SN AOC, in EW colours and flown by SN crews, and sold under the EW code?
- No more SN branded shorthaul planes? Or will this be planes that are on the EW AOC, in SN colours and flown by EW crews, and sold under the SN code?

I also fear that this will be a recipe for chaos. Don’t understand what hinders then to make a clearcut execution that everyone understands.
same like the BoB service in LX from GVA where the concept is clear, but the execution is missing any clarity....
