Lufthansa Munich luggage overnight connection question
 
We arrive in Munich from Sibiu, Romania at 7 pm on Lufthansa Cityline and we connect the next day at noon to Lufthansa Munich-Denver. We are hoping they will not make us pick up luggage? We are planning to hop on S Bahn to downtown with a carryon only, I do not want to have to carry the big suitcases with us. Any insight on whether we have to pick up luggages? thank you for any info.

Usually, airlines require bags be picked up is such situations. If LH won't hold them overnight, there is a left luggage facility at the airport:

IIRC, Lufthansa has night-before check in available in Munich and Frankfurt.

If you have to collect your bags from your Sibiu to Munich flight, just head right upstairs to the departures ticket counter and check your bags for your Munich-Denver flight.

No problem at all your bags can be checked through from Sibiu to DEN, no need to pick them up in MUC
